We bought this house in 2005 and it became our holiday home.  When we finished work in the UK in 2012 and moved to France, it became our main home.  Since that time we have not only renovated this house but also a charming and authentic 19th century stone farmhouse which we sold in 2018.

We decided that this was the house we wanted to live in, over and above the French farmhouse charm, life is about practicalities.  A home that is cool in the summer and warm in the winter, easy to maintain and not so big as to feel you are rattling around.  A house that is within walking distance to a busy village and all its amenities, with most fabulous views that change with the light and the seasons.  A house where the light pours into the rooms all year round.  

 

You can tell we enjoy this house and the area we live.  My husband, Alan is a keen cyclist and can access the open countryside immediately from our gated entrance.  My passion is art, particularly French art, which I sell worldwide, so you will find  pieces throughout the house.
 

During the time we spent renovating the farmhouse, we successfully let this house both on a short and long term basis.  Some of the people we best are life long friends
