ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
At Gite in Gascony we want everyone to enjoy their stay and use our website easily. We work hard to improve access for guests and visitors with disabilities.
Physical Property Access:
Layout Notice: Please note that our property features a single step into the property, a single step down to access the lounge, the kitchen, and a bathroom. The showers have a step into them. Because of this layout, these core areas are not fully step-free or ideal for unassisted wheelchair users.
Parking & Arrival: We have parking spaces located at the entrance. The path from the parking area to the front door is gravel.
Interior Doors: Doorways inside the gîte measure at least 70cm wide.
Bathrooms: The bathroom with the step down includes a bath/shower. The other bathrooms have showers with a step.
Information: We provide large-size instructions for assessing the gite, using equipment & general information.
Assistance: Please contact us before booking or arrival if you need exact step measurements or have specific questions about navigating the property layout.
Digital Accessibility (Website)
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at Level AA.
Our site supports screen readers, clear heading structures, keyboard navigation, and alternative text for images.
